On April 25, 2024, at the age of 95, Isabella Milligan Cherry, peacefully in her sleep, entered heaven to be united with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and reunited with her husband on their wedding anniversary after being apart for almost 38 years.
Born to Sarah and Andrew Ballantyne on September 8, 1928, in Eaton, Quebec. Isabella is predeceased by her husband, Russell Lloyd Cherry (12/10/1986), her parents, and sisters, Margaret, Ruby, Virginia, and Agnes. She leaves behind one remaining sister, Damaris Barnett, her three children, Andrew (Shelley), Barbara (Eric), and Carl (Virginia), her eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Despite being a widow for almost 38 years, Isabella lived life to the full, enjoying her friends, family, church, and her daily visit to her favourite coffee shop.
A celebration of life will take place on Monday, May 27, 2024 at Crestwicke Baptist Church, 400 Speedvale Ave. E., Guelph at 11:30 am. Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
