LONDON - As more rumours of trades involving the Guelph Storm made the rounds Tuesday, the undermanned squad pulled off a big 7-5 win over the Western Conference leading London Knights.

No trades were announced Tuesday, but the Storm sat out defenceman Mark Woolley and forward Barret Kirwin against the Knights. Zach Poirier also missed the game, but he was handed a six-game suspension earlier in the day for his head check against the North Bay Battalion Sunday.

It is believed the team Guelph is talking trade with is the Owen Sound Attack.

In London, the Storm scored five goals in the third period to pull out the win.

Isaac Ratcliffe and Nate Schnarr each had two goals while singles went to Ty Collins, Cedric Ralph and Dom Commisso.

Anthony Popovich made 26 saves, including some huge ones early in the contest.

Thursday the Storm plays at Niagara and Friday they are in Kitchener. Sunday they play at home against the Ottawa 67's.
