A truck fire temporarily closed the intersection of Gordon Street/Stone Road Tuesday afternoon.
Guelph Police Service alerted on social media just before 3 p.m. that a truck fire caught fire at the intersection.
On Twitter they urged people to avoid the area. A small strip of Stone Road at Gordon Street was closed off after the fire was extinguished by the Guelph Fire Department.
The fire was out when GuelphToday reached the scene. Four fire trucks were attending. The rear of a 24-foot truck was badly damaged.
