A piece of equipment has exploded inside the arena on the University of Guelph campus. No injuries are reported.
The university's campus police issued an alert on its Gryphon Alert system at 7:19 a.m. Thursday.
"Reason: Avoid Gryphon Center
Details: Avoid Gryphon Center Arena, equipment inside exploded. No injuries reported, emergency personnel on scene and investigating.
Affecting: Gryphon Centre."
Exactly what piece of equipment exploded is not known at this time.
