Ed Video Media Arts Centre has announced a new executive director.

Starting this week, local musician Sarafina Bortolon-Vettor will be taking over for former executive director Elizabeth Dent, who was with Ed Video for just over 19 years before retiring.

Bortolon-Vettor fronts Guelph’s Bonnie Trash alongside her twin sister, Emmalia, and is a coordinator and band coach for the Girls Rock Camp team.

“I’m thrilled to announce my new role as executive director at Ed Video Media Arts Centre,” Bortolon-Vettor said in a statement on X.

“I’m eager to contribute to this vibrant legacy. I’m looking forward to collaborating, innovating, and celebrating diverse expressions together. Let’s write the next chapter of Ed Video’s incredible story.”
