Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on April 25, 2024 after losing her lengthy battle with breast cancer.
Brenda was born on her father’s fishing boat on Pilly's Island, Newfoundland and spent her childhood there before joining the Canadian military.
Brenda was a loving daughter to her mother Pauline Moores and Pre-deceased father Albert Moores. As well as a loving sister to her brother Danny and predeceased siblings Barry and Lorriane.
Anyone who knew Brenda knows that of all the titles she had in her life her absolute favourite was mom to Jacob, Hannah, Jordan (Alexis) and Ashley. She also coveted the title of Nana to Seth, Emmett, Micah and many others who she took on an honorary role as "Nana p". She will be remembered by her many friends. Brenda's life was filled with love, laughter, and joy. Her memory will be carried by the numerous lives she touched.
Friends will be received at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow in her honour.
