BURKE, Muriel Mae - Of Guelph, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in her 84th year.
Loved mother of Patricia (Richard), Catherine (Robert), Peter (Karrie), and Sharon. Loving grandmother of Jesse, Sarah, Ethan, Autumn, Burke, and Paisley. Muriel will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends.
Muriel worked for many years at the Ontario Vet College at the University of Guelph where she loved working with the people and the animals - especially the newborn pigs. She travelled the world and had many adventures at home and abroad.
Muriel was very involved in her community. She would attend and help with many church functions throughout the years at St. Paul’s/All Saints Church. She also spent her time volunteering at Hospice Wellington and the River Run Centre. Muriel was always there to lend a helping hand.
Cremation has taken place. No service will be held at this time. Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
