A jury trial will begin early next year for a Guelph man accused of second-degree murder.

Ten days have been set aside for Jaspal Sidhu's trial, and is scheduled to begin Jan. 13, 2025.

Sidhu is accused of killing a 68-year-old man at a home on Hands Drive, near Gordon and Stone Road in February 2023.

At the time, Guelph police said officers were called to what was described as a family dispute. The 68-year-old man was found deceased and the 32-year-old Sidhu was arrested at the scene.
