Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the age of 95 with his loving family by his side.
Beloved husband of 34 years to Marjorie Hopkins. Loved father of Margaret (Dave) Smith, Brenda (Charles) Busch, Ron (Julie) Hopkins, Doug (Lucy) Hopkins, Christina (Jim) Stewart, and the late Rosemary MacDonald. Bud was the proud grandpa to 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Don and Norma and his sister Margaret. Bud will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bud spent 33 years in the military working as an officer. He also spent his time volunteering with St. Joseph’s Hospital for 30 years. Bud had a great love for his family and all the animals he encountered.
Friends will be received at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
